The Best Cornbread Recipe!


Fall is the time for warm stews, creamy soups and hearty chilis! Check out this simple and quick recipe for the best cornbread you will ever consume! Serve warm and with a dollop of honey on each slice!

Gather the following ingredients:

-1 cup Cornmeal

– 1 ½ cups Buttermilk

– ¾ cup Flour

-1 tablespoon Sugar

-1 ½ teaspoons Baking Powder

-½ teaspoon of Baking Soda

-¼ teaspoon Salt

– 6 tbsp Butter

-2 Eggs

-1 greased 8 inch baking dish

-1 oven preheated to 425 degrees!

To help you remember this recipe: think dry ingredients first, wet ingredients second, mix wet into dry, pour into dish, bake until golden, cool and serve!
